My grandpa used to polish nickels with mercury and I also remember playing with liquid mercury balls (with bare hands!) on my grandma’s plastic tablecloth . Yep. My mom and grandma were smoking, nearby.

I’m struggling with the notion that Alchemy is ‘active feminism’; and that the Simple Solution is: having Men admit (to themselves and the whole world, in no uncertain terms) that they MUST become more like Women IN ORDER TO EVOLVE.
